sola
About the project
LOCATION — Zurich, Switzerland
PROJECT TYPE — Residential Interiors
YEAR — 2023
Sola is a contemporary home cinema developed around comfort, functionality and the quality of the viewing experience. The room is designed as a private setting for films, relaxation and gathering.
Concept
Clearly organized seating areas and different platform levels ensure good visibility while reinforcing the cinematic character of the room. The layout creates an intimate environment without compromising functionality.
Design and materials
Timber panelling, textile surfaces, upholstered furniture and dark details give the room warmth and acoustic softness. Integrated linear lighting emphasizes the architecture, while built-in storage and serving elements support everyday use.
Spatial aesthetics
A restrained palette, soft textures and indirect lighting create a relaxed and atmospheric setting. Clean forms and carefully resolved details give the private cinema a refined contemporary character.
